What happens if my pickup falls on a holiday?

While we do not stop operations for all holidays, we are thrilled to be able to give our team time to spend with their friends and family for several holidays throughout the year. All pickups on those days will be canceled to make sure Team Ridwell gets to celebrate and our members who may be out of town for the holidays don't have to worry about the safety of their bins and Ridwellables!

If you have a pickup that falls on one of our observed holidays we will notify you four weeks in advance. We will gladly pick up two featured categories at the next pickup .

To avoid any one group of members having numerous cancelled pickups as a result of holidays which fall on the same day of the week (usually Monday) we may occasionally reschedule pickups from the day the holiday fell on and cancel pickups for members on another day. This ensures we are balancing the number of pickups each member has each year.

• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
• Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday of November)
• Day after Thanksgiving (4th Friday of November)
• Christmas Day (December 25)
