Can I cut up and/or nest clamshells to save space? (Limited areas only)

Clear plastic clamshells are only available as an add-on in limited Ridwell service areas. Check our clamshell service areas list to see whether you are eligible for clamshell pickups.

You are welcome to nest or stack your clear #1 PET clamshells inside each other, cut off/remove the lids, or cut up the containers so that they fit more easily into your clamshell bag.
